Stand Up to Cancer broadcast to feature Gwyneth Paltrow and Taylor Swift ...

gwyneth-paltrow-taylor-swift-getty.jpgStand Up to Cancer will run another telethon this September, once again featuring major movers and shakers in the entertainment industry in efforts to raise funds for translational cancer research. The telethon will air September 7, and will air simultaneously on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, BIO, E!, Encore, HBO, HBO Latino, ION
Television, LMN, Logo, MLB Network, mun2, Palladia, Showtime,
Smithsonian Channel, Starz, Style, TBS and VH1 at 8 p.m. EST.

On Wednesday, the organization, co-founded by Katie Couric, announced its celebrity line-up for this year’s benefit, and as usual, it’s positively packed with A-listers. Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Coldplay and Tim McGraw will perform.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Michael Douglas, Jessica
Biel, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Seth Rogen, Emma Stone, Simon Baker, Jordana Brewster, Diem Brown, Dana Delany, Chelsea Handler,
Marg Helgenberger, Rashida Jones, Minka Kelly, Joe Manganiello, Jillian
Michaels, Masi Oka, Ana Maria Polo, and Alison Sweeney are all on deck to take part in the event.
